ABSTRACT

The paper focuses on a phase moire technique as a tool of biomedical measurement. The real advantage of phase moire measurement in muscle pulsing lies in having to solve non-contact requirement problems for which the measured system would require whole field monitoring and a quick response. With a phase moire optical measurement system and a video camera we obtained a detailed analysis of the behavior of muscle pulsing. Post-processing procedures were performed by an image processing system. In this study we also discuss the possible applications of the phase moire measurement system in muscle pulsing.
