Using Discriminate Function and Counting Mask Operation for Counting Spacers in Liquid Crystals Display Plate

ABSTRACT

In this paper we create a simplified but effective image processing method for the automatic spacers counting device in the liquid crystals display manufacturing process. By using the new method of discriminate function and counting mask processing algorithm the samples were analyzed immediately. It should be emphasized out that because the spacers counter concern the quality of the liquid crystals displays product. So the application of this device with unsophisticated and economical equipment are confirmed in liquid crystals display manufacturing.
