Fig. 8 projects a series of microscope
images of processing results during our experiments. These patterns prove
that this system can quickly and efficiently detect the small defects of
various types in an entire optical disc master plate. From the quantity
of pitting defects, dust defects, smut defects, spotting defects, we can
decide to pay the attention to contamination control or electro-forming
process.
