ABSTRACT

We apply a modified Michelson interferometer for checking the vibration-isolation effect of a rotating system. In order to accommodate test mirrors and the laser light source of a Michelson interferometer on the test object, we adopt a single mode fiber surrounding the test object to introduce the laser light. From the wireless CCD camera mounted upon the screen we can conduct our observation. With a comparison to the computer simulation software which is related to the interference fringes we then obtained the vibration value of the test object.
